Last I remember it was Easter then ...
This month went by with a whoosh and I feel like I have spun in circles for awhile and I have to find my balance again.
So where to begin? How about April 22nd? Anyah's 2nd Birthday was awesomeness times 2. The kids survived the sudden heat wave and jumped in with both feet, literally, there was a bounce house.
There was also cake, presents, BBQ, family, friends I miss terribly sometimes and a good sized heap of laughter.
April ended epically.
Then it was May. Goodbye birthdays and Easter, Hello chaos. Amid the everyday life and work schedule there was normal stuff, doctors appointments and what not but there was also cheerleader try outs in my kitchen...
And a day warm enough to try out new bathing suits in the sprinkler...
There was rocking out at lunch with GiGi at the local hotdog joint...
There was swinging in the backyard and playing with Pixie...
There was a visit with Vickie, Lillie, and John and a playdate with the Biasca boys...
And opening day of the Turlock Farmer's market...
There were sick babies...
Who eventually got well enough to notice that playing with each other is actually fun...
There was lots of helping mommy cook, BBQ, and eating new things...
Not all the new things were expected...
Some things were expected like playdates and painting and then ended up different than we thought...
There was Mother's Day...
And room make-overs...
And George and Devon's wedding rehearsal and dinner...
Then being flower girls and celebrating the love of Mr and Mrs Santos...
And rocking reception way passed bedtime....
And lunch dates with mommy at Lulu's...
And rainy days in May...
And somewhere between the family drama, trips to the grocery and dollar store, and the work, and going to school we found just enough time to buy a new car...
With just a few days left, I work the holiday and we have a birthday party for Collin on Monday so it's not going to end any slower than it started....
Ha not likely with these two to slow down soon :)
